The Worst Day Of My Life - 1078 Words

Rain thrashed down savagely upon the roof of my candy apple red 1970 Mustang. The car was beautiful, but I never really worried about leaving it outside to get splattered. The tops stood tall, sharp like spearheads. There was no gate, however, just a large opening, and so I crossed the threshold. Honestly, this was the closest I had ever been to the house before, but maybe that was because it looked kind of eerie. Tall, dark, three-story house with elaborate designs and a steep multi-faceted roof. Wet grass squished underneath my shoes as I drew close to the porch. On either side of the stairsteps, I could see thick gnarls of scarlet red roses.
